2. What data we collect
Route&Camp has no user accounts, no forms and no newsletter. We do not ask you for any personal data to use the website.
When you visit any website, some technical data is processed automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This happens in the following cases:
- Hosting. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks.
- Maps. The route maps load map images from OpenStreetMap and map data on campsites and motorhome areas from OpenStreetMap services (Overpass API). Your browser connects to these servers to show the map.
- Map tools. Map software (Leaflet) is loaded from cdnjs, a service run by Cloudflare.
- Email. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To deliver the website and keep it secure: our legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
- To answer your messages: your consent when you write to us (Article 6.1.a GDPR).
- Optional cookies and local storage: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. See the cookie policy.
4. How long we keep it
Emails are kept only as long as needed to answer you. Technical data is kept by our providers for the time set in their own policies, usually a short period.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or give your data to anyone. The providers listed above process technical data on our behalf or to deliver their services. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. External links
When you open a route in Google Maps or Waze, or visit the website of a campsite, you leave Route&Camp. From that moment the privacy policy of that service applies.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or limit its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to routeandcamp@gmail.com. If you think your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
