How it works
Everything you need to know to plan your trip with Route&Camp, in a few steps.
Good to know
Routes are a guide, not a fixed plan: most can be driven in another direction and you can skip stops. Campsites and areas come from OpenStreetMap and may be out of date, so check before you go.
1. Find a route
On the home page, search by country, region, difficulty, best time of year or a place. You can also open Routes in the menu to see every route in a country on a numbered map.
2. Choose your days
Every route comes in 3, 7 and 15 days. Choose the number of days at the top of the route page and the map, the stages and the buttons change with it.
3. Explore the map
The route map shows the stages and the stops. Use the buttons above it to show or hide campsites, motorhome areas, parking places and service points, or open it in full screen.
4. Follow it day by day
Each day lists its stops, what to see, approximate distances and driving times, directions to open on your phone and where to sleep tonight.
5. Take the route with you
Open the route in Google Maps or Waze, download it as a GPX file for your navigator or as a TXT file to read offline, or share it on WhatsApp.
6. Tips and FAQ
Each route has practical tips for motorhomes, campervans and caravans (where to sleep, busy seasons, narrow roads, low-emission zones…) and answers to the most frequently asked questions. On your phone, tap them to open them.
7. Get ready
Each route also shows the usual weather and temperatures in every season, and motorhome and campervan rental companies nearby if you fly in.
